Instagram is now ready to add TikTok
The company, owned by Meta, is now testing a new feature that will allow users to do vertical scrolling in stores.
According to the report, some Instagram users in Turkey and Brazil have received updates to the feature of vertical scrolling of stories on Instagram.
Experts say that the introduction of this feature by Instagram seems to be an attempt to compete with the video sharing application tiktok, as it already has the feature of vertical scrolling. Thanks to this feature, there will be more focus on videos in stories than static content on Instagram.
Just last month, Instagram tested the length of videos in stores from 15 seconds to 60 seconds. This will allow users to upload one-minute videos in a single segment instead of splitting it into four segments.
