Wal-Mart announces its own cryptocurrency and NFT
US supermarket Wal-Mart has hinted at developing cryptocurrencies and NFTs (commonly known as digital assets) for payments.

A Wal-Mart spokeswoman said: “We’re constantly researching ways to make our customers’ shopping experience easier and more technology-friendly.” And hopefully we will soon start offering NFT and cryptocurrency to our customers.
He said Wal-Mart was considering how to use digital currencies and products. However, it was not uncommon for Wal-Mart to accept cryptocurrency or NFT.
Facebook has changed the name of its company to Meta, indicating that it now wants to work in Meta Versus, which is why many big brands are embracing digital currency and NFT or both.
Recently, Adidas, Nike, Gap and other well-known names have signaled the creation of a virtual space by selling non-fungible tokens.
In light of all this, Wal-Mart will soon launch its own digital assets and cryptocurrency.
